Bugsy is still fearful of his "Daddy", but has made a lot of progress with me. We can walk on a leash now without a lot of fear, and Bugsy will go in and out of the house now without cowering/ducking/cringing.
Bugsy is a very fast learner and knows 'sit'; 'down' and "boing!" which is a behavior I captured with click/treat. Bugsy when very excited will jump straight up in the air with all 4 feet! I thought this was a cute behavior so I waited for it and C/T. He will do it on command now- just working on NOT doing it when I don't ask for it. He won't do these behaviors when the scarey "MAN" is around so we will see if he will do them in class tonight.
Our 2nd basic manners class is tonight. Last week went better than I expected- so we will see how tonight goes! The instructors were able to come to @ 10 feet from him without any fearful responses. He did eat his chicken during class so he wasn't over the top stressed.
Bugsy and Oscar are good buddies now; but it took some time for Bugsy to understand 'proper' doggie to doggie behavior. Now they play together, chew their bully sticks together, and sleep together!
